IFS in Relationship: Turning Inward to Connect Outward
Beginner, Intermediate
Relationships can be incredibly fulfilling – and wildly frustrating! In this session you’ll learn ways to attune to and attend to your inner world when relationship tension is high so you can return to presence with the person in front of you. You’ll experience this through guided meditations, journaling and group exercises.
Presented by:
Andrea Feucht
Andrea Feucht is a Level 2 IFS Practitioner with many advanced trainings, including IFIO (IFS for couples), Somatic IFS and IFS for Legacy and Cultural Burdens. Andrea uses both IFS and her embodied coaching skills to help adults in challenging life situations find a healing path through.
Using IFS for Coaching Outcomes
Intermediate, Advanced
Experience how Internal Family Systems can be used not only for healing but for creating change. Through guided journaling and live coaching, participants clarify a personal objective, meet the parts that respond to it, and learn how IFS can intentionally influence future choices and outcomes.
Presented by:
Bill Tierney
Cofounder of Parts Work Practice, Certified IFS Practitioner, Compassionate Results Coach. He began coaching in 2011 and became certified in IFS in 2021. Bill leads five IFS-based groups and offers individual coaching. He helps people recover their true Selves through the IFS model, drawing on over four decades of personal development since getting sober in 1982. He is the author of the Compassionate Results Guidebook and co-author of the forthcoming Parts Work Guidebook.
In Your Head About IFS
Intermediate
The more we learn about the IFS parts work model, the more we want to do it right! Unfortunately, this can actually make the process harder, as we get caught up in our "Self-like" parts. Learn how to detect and work with your parts that are trying so hard to do the right thing..
Presented by:
Brian Jones
Brian Jones is a Level 1 trained IFS therapist. He has volunteered as a Practice Assistant in the Parts Work Practice group since early 2024, and as a Program Assistant in IFS Institute Level 1 training. Brian works in private practice, specializing in religious trauma and adjacent issues such as shame, grief, relationship and family-of-origin issues.
Portals for Healing: Exploring the Wisdom of Triggers and Activations
Intermediate
Let's explore the trailheads of triggers and activations as doorways towards younger parts holding unprocessed experiences and emotions. We'll practice the work of holding a safe witnessing space to get to know, update, unburden, and reintegrate these protective parts back into our system and psyche. Some basic IFS knowledge will be helpful for this workshop.
Presented by:
Islena Faircrest
Somatic therapist and yoga educator since 2000, Islena Faircrest is a trauma-informed Internal Family Systems trained practitioner and interpersonal somatic attachment therapist. She facilitates learning secure relational connection, repairing attachment injury, and helping individuals & families in their healing journey towards empowered living. She's a mother of two young adults, a caregiver to her physically handicapped elderly mother, and understands sandwich-generation midlife pressures from lived experience, as well as how to grow internal resources and resilience in the face of challenge and adversity.
Meet the Dreamers and the Doubters
Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
Inside each of us are parts that dream big—imagining new possibilities, growth, and change—and parts that hold back, raising fears and questions to keep us safe. In this experiential workshop, you’ll learn how to meet both of these parts with curiosity and compassion using the Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach.
Through guided visualization, parts mapping, and reflection exercises, you’ll discover what each part wants for you, how it tries to help, and how they can work together to support your next steps. Whether your aspiration involves career, creativity, relationships, or personal growth, you’ll leave with greater clarity, appreciation for your inner system, and a renewed sense of confidence in your path forward.
Presented by:
Jesse Schuhlein
Jesse Schuhlein is an IFS-trained coach and former engineering leader. In his mid-forties, after helping build a successful scientific automation company, he turned his curiosity inward—discovering a path of inner growth and healing that led to a new career in coaching. A central part of that journey was Internal Family Systems (IFS), where he completed Stepping Stones and Stepping Deeper through IFSCA.
Today, through Recharge Coaching, Jesse blends IFS, mindfulness, and leadership experience to help people reconnect with Self, integrate their inner systems, and move toward what truly matters—in work, relationships, and life.

Who’s Running the Show?
Understanding the Parts That Shape Your Life
Beginner
Have you ever caught yourself saying, “A part of me wants to… but another part of me doesn’t”?
That simple phrase holds the key to understanding how your mind truly works.
In this presentation, we explore the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model—a compassionate framework for understanding your inner world. You’ll discover how different parts of you shape your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and why inner conflict often keeps you stuck.
Through story and reflection, you’ll begin to see that the parts running your life aren’t problems to fix—they’re protective strategies that once helped you feel safe.
This is an invitation to pause, get curious, and recognize that your stuck places aren’t failures—they’re parts of you still waiting to be understood.
Presented by:
Peggy Popielarz
Peggy Popielarz is a Level 1–trained IFS Practitioner and Self-Led Results Coach who works with women who’ve built lives that look good on the outside — yet inside, there’s a quiet sense that something’s missing. Many have spent years keeping the peace, putting others first, and trying to be “enough,” leaving them disconnected from themselves.
Peggy helps them pause, listen within, and meet the parts of themselves that have been working so hard to hold it all together — guiding them to remember what truly matters and to discover a peace that comes from living aligned with their truth.
Conference Schedule
Choose Your Own Path to Healing
Throughout the conference, trained IFS practitioners will offer a variety of immersive 75-minute breakout workshops—each focused on a different aspect of Parts Work and the IFS model. You’ll get to choose up to three sessions that speak most to you, right on the day of the event.
Whether you're drawn to topics like working with protectors, accessing Self energy, or healing from inner conflict, each workshop is designed to create real insight and embodied change.
This is not passive learning—these sessions are practical, experiential, and transformational. You won’t just understand IFS more deeply. You’ll feel the shift.
Come curious. Leave changed.
